Photographers to get lost with. /// part one

We’re always coming across new and old photographers that we love. Here are some of our favourites that are a new current obsession. The words below are ours.We genuinely love the images / photographers we share. That’s the whole reason for this post. A short post that gives you some time and maybe a different perspective of work to get lost in, and maybe takes you down a new path. We personally don’t know any of the photographers that we’re recommending, we’re just admiring from a far.

loveerrs.art - We love film photography a little to much and Lena’s work is all that. We love the images of horses and the landscape where she lives, the raw coast lines and wild flowers. Her self portraits are beautiful and you can see more of them at the moment her Instagram.

I’ve followed these guys for years, they used to be wedding photographers and a complete inspiration when we first started out. Absolutely love their portraits they look in the moment and relaxed but also really styled, colours, tones & composition. The films they make for kinfolk are some of our favourites as well.

Calm + Light - her work freezes the moment for me and the subjects are so perfectly placed. The colours aren’t to much they are soft and subtle just with a touch of light.

Portraits / Portraits / portraits

For me there is a real connection with the person, you really feel like you are there with them. I found her work one night watching the Nowness youtube channel, it was about a project called boys, I’ll pop a link below but would be amazing to see what you think. When you flick through her work there are so many people from different backgrounds and walks of life.

Petra Collins

Love Love Love her work, it’s not something I could ever produce because it’s not me but I’m so drawn to it. The colours the strong messages, the connection between people in the images looks so genuine. No two images are the same but you can always tell it’s Petra’s work.
