JEANNIE PORTRAIT, FILM PHOTOGRAPHY

STORY OF A GIRL

Working with film has changed something for me and to be honest it's not the first time that I've given it a go. About four years ago I tried it but got a little frustrated that I couldn't create what I had in my mind. So moving onto more recently and I can't shoot enough of the stuff! I spend most of my time reading about either different film formats, film stocks or other photographers either on the internet or on Instagram. If you're reading this and you can recommend anyone who you find inspiration from, that would be amazing and I'll try to do the same for you.

Anyway this is a shoot I did with Jeannie, who's we've known for a good couple of years now but have never got around to taking her picture. How beautiful is she? She's pretty special person from what I know of her.  They were all shot on a Pentax 645n with a 105mm f2.4 lens and a mixture of Kodak Portra {Colour} & Kodak Tri-x {I think this is my new favourite black and white}.  I still feel like I'm at the start of my journey with film and I look forward to every moment with it. Would love to connect with more people who have the love for film or just really appreciate it. Or if I can take your picture?
