The Eco Friendly Living Co

We were asked to photograph some products for The Eco Friendly Living co. Looking at the products we wanted to create a really simple and clean look, almost showcasing them on their own using the natural light. Normally we would do this at our office but as we’re in lockdown at the moment, Jo found went online and ordered some A2 sheets of card. She wanted to find some earthy natural tones to go with the products. We’ve had a few messages since then asking us where we got the card from, I’ll leave a link below under the images.

We made a little setup on the wall, using some washi tape to hold one piece of card up, while placing the other on a table. What was amazing about this, was it was such a fun little project and not hard to re create at all. We knew where the natural light was going to fall and worked in a simple way, along with it.

If the shadows were a bit too much we used one of the white pieces of card as a reflector and cancelled some of them out that way. Also if the sun was too harsh we just blocked the light from one window with the card and altered our settings to shoot in less, but more even light.

I know right now, not everything is possible, but if you use your creativity, you can still provide beautiful images with limited resources.
