There is only one thing in life that’s certain, and that’s change.
Pretty sure that I’ve heard that a couple of times in my life and you know what? it’s true. With that being said I’m known (james) for changing things a couple of times over and sometimes for the people around me, it’s laughable and sometimes not so much. I’ve always done it and I’m pretty sure if I look into it, I’ll find others like me too.
One of the things I love is design, I love creating. If it’s a website for us or for someone else, a new logo or making my once in a lifetime hashbrown suprise. (clearly not the cook in our house!) This time I’ve made a new logo. Part of it is down to where we moved to, we live in a beautiful old village surrounded by lovely folk and a shit load of owls! It was the last thing I expected to hear and see when we moved, but in so many ways it feels like we came home when we arrived here.
So here is our new logo to go with our new name the melia’s- oh yeah there is that. Now this was kinda a joint decision a bit like when Jo told me telepathically to move our office around then acted surprised when she saw it for the first time. When we got married I wanted to change the name of the business because we both own half of the business and we both do equal shares. We looked at lots of other couples that were in business and came up with the name MELIA MELIA - This has been good for a couple of years and we’re happy with it, but the one thing that comes up time and time again is that the pronunciation of the name, and when it’s said twice, it kinda gets Jo’s back up. We’ve noticed over the last year that when people introduce us it’s said correctly. So this is the long-winded reason why we changed the name. Anyway if you’ve got this far, thank you!
